The End is near...

Nay. The End Is Nigh.

In 25 minutes I will have a group presentation that will finish off Ethnography.

And the next 24 hours will be filled to the brim with automatic slideshows, a website for them, a machine learning paper, and a Machine Learning homework that I will not finish. But then I am basically done!!

Things are going well. Just lots of work.

As for the weather: It was summed up best by Gywn: "That is not snow... it is sky dandruff." We have had about a week of this quazi snow quazi flakes... I don't consider it snow for two reasons. 1) It is not sticking to the roads. 2) There is no way to throw a snow ball. On a separate note it is really cold. Not necessarily just in temperature (don't worry, it has not gotten that far below 20) but the dang wind. It is really windy, it cuts through whatever you are wearing.

Don't worry Chelsea, I have been using your hat! And thank you Kirsten for the Scarf, it has been used a lot. And for the rest of you who may be worried, I am still rocking the shorts. On that topic: Jeff (who is going to be my biographer when I am famous) came up with the title of my life story: Prepared and Pants-less.

For my family: I am super excited to see you all!

To my friends (who I don't think read this anymore): Ill be in Spokane the end of December and beginning of January, let me know if you want to hang out :)

For the rest of you who may be wondering about my life, I recognize the void in updates. I am thinking the plane ride to San Diego is going to be a good time to catch up, so dont worry, you will hear all about the past month. (still let me know if you want details on any one thing.)

  1. By the time you read this, one more thing is checked off your list. Hopefully it went well and/or you feel good about it. Hang in there 24 more hours!!! You can do it!!!

Love the title of your biography... and I'm with you, I have never felt wind go thru my clothes like it did in Pittsburgh...

Stay warm, stay true to yourself, work hard and play hard. XOXOX :-)

  2. Haha, I love the "Prepared and Pant-less". It's perfect! Scott, the weather has been very weird in Colorado too. It hasn't snowed in Boulder yet, and it's been warm enough to wear a t-shirt and shorts.
